The VAM-Berg serves as the backdrop for a spectacular stage in Drenthe. Here, the peloton faces a challenging course featuring multiple climbs and a finish at the summit of the mountain.

Side Events

October 17 – Fat Tire Race
During the Eneco Tour in Hoogeveen – VAM-Berg, we’re organizing the Fat Tire Race for the youngest riders. Kids hop on their own bikes, put on their helmets, and race along the same course that the pros will ride just a little later. See the schedule below!

The VAM-Berg (Col du VAM) is not accessible by car during the Eneco Tour stage.

You can park behind the VAM-Berg and take the shuttle bus from there, which will drop you off at the base of the VAM-Berg.

Please note that from the shuttle bus stop, you will need to walk uphill on unpaved terrain, which may be soggy in case of bad weather.
